Wayne County offers several household hazardous waste collection
days each year that is available at no cost to all Wayne County residents.

Examples of Acceptable Items:
Household paints, stains, dyes, floor wax, nail polish, glues, fertilizers,
pesticides, antifreeze, motor oil, gasoline, car & boat batteries, fluorescent
bulbs, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, mercury, computer equipment, cell
phones, fax machines, copiers and televisions AND Pharmaceutical Waste
(NON-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ONLY).
