Plymouth Township provides a wide range of services to the community. Public safety is first on the list with the Plymouth Township Police Department and the Plymouth Community Fire Department making safety their top priority. Plymouth Township also offers Recreational opportunities for all ages, Senior Citizen transportation, Water, Sewer, Solid Waste pickup and Recycling, and a full range of Building and Community Development services.

The philosophy of the Township is to provide the best services possible while keeping expenses and the taxes which fund these services as low as possible. In fact, Plymouth Township has one of the lowest tax rates in Wayne County.
