Gun Permits

The following guidelines are in place to obtain a gun purchase permit:

  • You must be a Plymouth Township Resident.
  • You must present a valid Michigan Driver’s license with correct address.
  • You are required to take a 15 question True or False quiz on gun safety.
  • The purchase permit expires ten days from the day you receive it.
  • There is a $5.00 fee for the permit.

    • The hours for obtaining a permit are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
