Board of Trustees - Special Meeting - Minutes
March 31, 2005
Supervisor Reaume called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

D. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Special Meeting - Thursday, March 31, 2005
Mrs. Massengill moved to approve the Agenda for the Board of Trustees Special
Meeting of Thursday, March 31, 2005, as presented. Seconded by Ms. Arnold.

J. NEW BUSINESS
J.1 Approval of Structural Steel Bid for the new Township
Hall/Police Department and Fire Station.
Mr. John DeMattia of DeMattia Group addressed the Board and answered questions.
He noted the bid was actually for just the Township Hall/Police Department. The
Fire Station portion was deleted because the station was being redesigned.
Mrs. Massengill asked for an explanation eventually of why the proposal was
listed as $495,474 on one of the pages of material from Raven Iron Works.
Mr. Mann moved to award the bid for structural steel for the new Township Hall
and Police Department to Raven Iron Works in the amount of $498,474. Seconded by
Ms. Arnold.

K. SUPERVISOR COMMENTS – There were none.
L. TRUSTEE COMMENTS – There were none.
M. PUBLIC COMMENT
A Township resident asked if the Board knew if any progress was being made
with the property on Joy Road, west of Canton Center Road. The building was
formerly a KinderCare facility.
Ms. Arnold indicated the purchaser, a dentist, has a year to move forward with
the plan he presented to the Planning Commission.

Mrs. Massengill moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Mr.
Edwards.
