IV. Minutes of September 9, 2002, meeting.
Mrs. Karell requested a correction on Page 2, under Liberty State Bank, as follows:
It was requested to have the revised landscape plan brought back to the DDA since Planning Commission site plan approval was contingent on DDA approval of landscaping.
She then moved to accept the minutes of the meeting of September 9, 2002, as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Grutza. Ayes all except Ms. Hovey who was absent.
V. Old Business
A. Screening Wall Design Alternatives - Cost Information (report to
be presented)
Terry Croad presented the report and figures on the cost of brick veneer over existing
walls. It would be $200 per lineal foot, plus the cost of engineering to determine the wall's stability. With the add-on cost, this is comparable to a new wall.
B. Prototype Streetscape Crossection
Mrs. Karell questioned why mums were not listed as acceptable plant materials, and Mr. Croad assured the members that additional plants could be added.
Moved by Mr. Kolb, supported by Mrs. Karell, to grant final approval to the Prototype Streetscape Crossection. Ayes all.
VI. New Business
A. Site Plan Review

Moved by Ms. Hovey, supported by Mr. Kolb, to relay approval to the Planning Commission of the tentative site plan for the Amoco Remodeling, Ann Arbor Road and Lilley Road, as presented. Ayes all.

Moved by Mrs. Karell, seconded by Mr. Grutza, to relay to the Planning Commission that the DDA is not in favor of the Quiznos project as submitted because they have made no effort to comply with any of the DDA's requirements. Ayes all.

Mr. Anulewicz described the proposed plans for the property.
VII. Public Comment - There was none.

Because the next regular meeting date falls on Veteran's Day, Mr. Cook moved to change the next regular meeting date of the DDA to Monday, November 4, 2002, at 4 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Grutza. Ayes all.
