April 14, 2003
Chairman Mann called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m.

New member Si Nahra was introduced and welcomed.
IV. Minutes of the March 10, 2003 meeting
Moved by Mrs. Karell, supported by Mr. Grutza, to approve the minutes of the
meeting of March 10, 2003, as submitted. Ayes all.

VI. New Business
A. Site Plan Review: Meridian Square Office Building,
41061 Ann Arbor Road.
After review of the landscape plan presented by Sally Hodges of McKenna
Associates, members discussed possible requirements for the wall which would be
perpendicular to Ann Arbor Road. It was agreed to recommend to the Planning
Commission the plan presented, with the following stipulations:
1. Wall to be brick construction to the end of Lot 24, then poured
concrete stamped to look like brick and colored to blend with the brick
installation. Brick piers to be installed every 60 feet.
2. Installation of the verge along Ann Arbor Road.
3. Removal of the wall between the office building and the bank up to the
dumpster.
4. Planting a balance of perennials and annuals.
Mrs. Hodges was asked to bring in samples of walls that might be acceptable.
Mrs. Karell questioned the process whereby the DDA was billed by McKenna
Associates for plan review of businesses. Mr. Mann noted that all fees in
conjunction with Community Development were currently being reviewed

Mr. Mann adjourned the meeting at 5:02 p.m.
