Chairman Reaume called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.

3. Approval of Minutes for the August 14, 2006 Meeting.
Moved by Mr. Cook, supported by Mr. Kasperski, to approve the minutes of the
August 14 , 2006, meeting.

4. Old Business
A. Update on MDOT Streetscape Maintenance. (Eckles to
Haggerty)
- Presented by Patrick Fellrath
Mr. Fellrath indicated the final walk-through with MDOT, their contractor and
the McKenna arborist was held in late September, with selected plantings to be
replaced this week. Then maintenance will be transferred to our contractor,
Denny’s Landscaping for fall cleanup and irrigation system winterization.
Mr. Anulewicz recommended verifying with our contractor exactly the scope of
fall cleanup.
B. Update on Non-insured Streetscape Items Damaged by
July 2006
Auto Accident.
Mr. Fellrath said two checks, totaling $1404, have been received from the
insurance company of the driver who was ticketed for the accident for
replacement of the tree and plantings in front of CVS.
C. Update on Insured Street Items Damaged by December
2005
Auto Accident.
Mr. Fellrath said the billing just recently received from Motor City Electric
for replacement of the double globe light pole at Haggerty and Ann Arbor Roads
was forwarded to MMRMA and they will pay Motor City Electric directly.
D. Future Streetscape Improvements: I-275 Interchange
Quadrants
and CSX RR Bridge
Mr. Fellrath indicated the aerial view of the improvement area was sent to MDOT
last month, and they have given the green light for the Township to submit a
conceptual plan to them.
He also mentioned a response letter has been received from CSX regarding the
railroad bridge. The letter included the name and phone number of a local CSX
representative for the Township to contact and meet with to further discuss
issues.
5. New Business
A. Street Lighting Maintenance for Streetscape:
Review of Bids
Members reviewed the list of bids submitted and the recommendation for Motor
City Electric Utilities Company as the lowest responsible bidder, who is also
experienced with installing and maintaining street lights of the same type as
included in the project.
Moved by Mrs. Ludtke, supported by Mr. Cook, to authorize the Chairman and
Secretary of the DDA Board to negotiate and enter into a final contract for
Street Lighting Maintenance Services for the DDA Streetscape to the low bidder,
Motor City Electric Utilities Company, subject to approval by the Board of
Trustees.

B. Approval of 2007-2008 DDA Meeting Schedule
Moved by Mr. Barone, supported by Mr. Kasperski, to adopt the following schedule
of meeting dates for the Plymouth Township Downtown Development Authority for
2007-2008:

C. Approval of Invoices
Moved by Mrs. Ludtke, supported by Mr. Kasperski, to approve payment of the
invoices as presented, in the amount of $5,095.22.
Ayes all.
D. Sheldon Road/Ann Arbor Road Gas Station Rebuild
Members reviewed plans for the gas station rebuild to occur at Sheldon and Ann
Arbor Roads as soon as final site plan approval is granted by the Planning
Commission. The applicants have received tentative site plan approval and
variances have been granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
6. Public Comment
Mr. Reaume updated members on the status of various building
projects in the area.
7. Adjournment
Moved by Mr. Cook, supported by Mr. Kasperski, to adjourn the
meeting.
