Moved by Mr. Jachym, supported by Mr. Griffith, to accept the minutes of the
Regular Meeting of July 10, 2003, as presented. Ayes all.

The applicant is requesting three variances:
1. The allowable maximum signable area is (ninety) 90 square feet. With the
proposed request of one hundred seventeen point five (117.5) square feet of
signable area, the applicant is requesting a variance of twenty five point five
(25.5) square feet in signable area.
2. The allowed maximum number of items of information per sign is thirteen (13).
With the proposed request of sixteen (16) items of information, the applicant is
requesting a variance for three (3) items of information per sign.
3. The allowed maximum number of wall signs per façade, which has a separate
public means of ingress and egress, is one (1). With the proposed request of
three (3) walls signs per one façade, the applicant is requesting a variance for
two (2) wall signs.
A representative of Heileman Signs and Mr. Dave Galdes of Fox Hills Chrysler
Jeep addressed the Board and answered questions. The request for a variance for
three items of information per sign, Item No. 2, was withdrawn because the owner
was willing to eliminate some of the signs on the east wall.
It was also agreed that the size of the signage could be reduced, thus falling
within the allowable 90 square feet.
Moved by Mr. Sturdy, supported by Mr. Jachym, to grant the request for a
variance from one to three wall signs as requested in Application 1340, Fox
Hills Chrysler Jeep, with the understanding that the signage on the east and
west walls comes down and that these signs fall within the maximum signable area
of 90 square feet. Ayes all.
Moved by Mr. Sturdy, supported by Mr. Jachym, to adjourn the meeting.
