Plymouth Township has approved a new Ordinance on fireworks use, based on a new state law, that further limit the use of consumer-grade fireworks.

You may ONLY ignite consumer fireworks on the following days after 11 a.m. on:

- December 31 until 1 a.m. on January 1;

- The Saturday and Sunday immediately before Memorial Day until 11:45 p.m. on each of those days;

- June 29 to July 4 until 11:45 p.m. on each of those days;

- July 5, if that date is a Friday or Saturday, until 11:45 p.m;

- The Saturday and Sunday immediately before Labor Day until 11:45 p.m. on each of those days.

The Township may impose a civil fine of $1,000.00 for violation of the new fireworks ordinance. There are other restrictions on fireworks permits and sales. Please contact the Building Department at 734-354-3210 for more information.
