Environmental Leadership Commission (ELC)

The Plymouth Township Environmental Leadership Commission was created in 2019 by Ordinance N0. 1016, Amendment No. 23. The purpose of this ordinance is to provide for the creation of a citizen commission to address local environmental education, programs, stewardship, sustainability, outreach, and similar issues in and for the residents and guests of the Charter Township of Plymouth.

Sidewalks
More Sidewalks InformationUnder Plymouth Township’s Sidewalk Ordinance (Chapter XI, Property Maintenance) , property owners are responsible for keeping sidewalks adjacent to their property in good repair.
To assist residents, the Township may conduct a Sidewalk Inspection and Replacement Program for a specific geographic area. If so, a region will be inspected and property owners notified within that region of any defects present.
